In Transit: USA

Influenced greately by Californian artists such as Richard Diebenkorn, Wayne Thiebauld, Ben Aronson, and Raymonds Strapans- a visit to the West coast of the USA has been on my bucket list for my whole life and I was fortunate enough to be their whilst making work for my series ‘In Transit’.

The vibrant colours and dynamic landscapes of California have not only inspired my artistic journey but have also shaped my understanding of light and space. Each brushstroke captures the essence of my experiences, reflecting the unique interplay between urban life and nature. This body of work continues to grow as I work through the many sketches made whilst on location, helping to develop such a key series of artworks for me in my practice.
