Castles, Churches, and Ancient Sites

During my time on Landscape Artist of the Year, I created several artworks featuring castles in Scotland, most notably Kilchurn Castle on Loch Awe. This powerful and moody landscape exudes history, an aspect I was keen to capture. The series was revisited months later and became part of a larger body of work that continues to evolve. Further studies include ancient monuments across the UK, Ireland, and Europe, such as a small series of paintings depicting a monastery in Zakynthos.
