- About the artwork – Taken from a series of drawings and colour studies whilst in San Francisco, and in particular focusing on one of the metro subway entrances in the downtown of the city. I loved this part of the city and I did lots of sketching and note taking that went on to form the basis for a number of San Francisco series artworks. It is also part of an even larger series, larger series of work exploring place entitled ‘In Transit’.
