- About the artwork – This composition was taken from sketches made around Brooklyn after walking over the famous bridge from Manhattan island. I did lots of small scale thumbnail studies, and this scene featured in many of them, resulting in two (so far) painting studies- this one at a smaller size than the larger piece on canvas (Towards Brooklyn Bridge 1 & 2).
