- About the artwork – This piece is part of a series created from drawing studies made on location in Agassi, a quaint coastal village at the southern tip of the Greek island of Zakynthos. I was captivated by the long path that guides the eye both downwards and upwards, leading to and from the beach and the Ionian Sea. The striking contrast between the pristine white wall and the darker vegetation in the background evokes the heat and warmth of summer.
