- About the artwork – The final piece in a series of four artworks that explore the Monastery Panagia Skopiotissa- a ruined series of buildings located near the top of Mount Skopos in the south-eastern part of Zante island. The semi-abstract style dances between reality and imagination, evoking a sense of peace blended with the dynamic play of colors and shapes. Shadow and light interact, contrasting the stillness of the structure with the lively surroundings of a monastery that dates from 1624 with Byzantine designs and features that I found visually interesting.
