- About the artwork – This piece is part of a series created from drawing studies made on location in Santa Ponsa, Mallorca. I was captivated by the sunlit path leading down to the beach and the blue shadow cast on the right side, forming intriguing shapes and compositions. The flash of purple from the lavender plant added a colourful touch. The striking contrast between the pristine white wall and the darker vegetation in the background evokes the heat and warmth of summer.
