- About the artwork – This artwork captures the initial impression many people have upon arriving in Burton—from the railway station to the Town Hall and the Victorian-era square. Created from sketches and color studies in the autumn light, the warm orange hue of the bricks on numerous buildings stands out. It belongs to a collection of pieces depicting my hometown, presently featured in the exhibition ‘The Burton Series.’
