- About the artwork – Taken from a series of drawings and colour studies whilst in San Francisco on Embarcadero. Part of a larger series of work exploring place entitled ‘In Transit’. The Embarcadero, along the city’s eastern shoreline, is home to several waterfront attractions. There is the iconic clock tower and the 1898 Ferry Building. A series of piers offers ferries to Alcatraz Island, science exhibits at the Exploratorium, restaurants and Bay Bridge.
