• About the artwork – Part of a smaller series of studio interiors made during the COVID 19 pandemic and time in isolation and the studio. Influenced heavily by the works of Raymonds Staprans and Ben Aronson and part of a due of studies looking at a tin of liquin in my studio. I have always been interested in exploring my process through the creation of Still Life studies. Often from inside the studio, they allow me to play with compositions, colour balance, mark-making amongst other things.
