• About the artwork – Taken from a series of drawings and colour studies made in the Marlborough region of New Zealand’s South island. The area near Blenheim is famed for vineyards, and I visited the Brancott Estate that presented to me a number of beautiful vistas- with key features for me including leading line angles given by the vines- the far off hills, and the subtle structures within the landscape showing pops of colour. I did a number of studies here including interiors and landscapes.

This artwork is currently available through the Watts Contemporary Gallery in Guildford until April 2022.
