• About the artwork – Part of a series of work made during from drawings made on location whilst travelling through the Canadian Rockies on the famous Icefield Parkway and at the beautiful Emerald Lake where I chose to focus on the several lodges that were nearby. Linking Lake Louise with Jasper, Alberta – the Icefields Parkway is a 232 km stretch of double-lane highway winding along the Continental Divide through soaring rocky mountain peaks, icefields and vast sweeping valleys. This particular piece is part of a smaller series taken from sketches and colour studies made near the lake, and it is also part of the larger body of work- ‘In Transit’.

This artwork is currently available through the Watts Contemporary Gallery in Guildford until April 2022.
