- About the artwork – Part of a series of works made whilst living and working in South Derbyshire as an art teacher/ artist-in-residence at Repton School in the early winter light. The painting draws the eye to the Old Mitre, a former coaching inn at Repton cross and now part of the school where I lived for a time. It is still home to some teaching classrooms and staff accomodation.
