‘A Sense of Place'

2 day workshop

I will be returning to the Republic of Ireland where I will be taking a two day workshop in the beautiful village of Enniskerry near Dublin.

This workshop will explore landscape painting concepts and techniques through the eyes of you the artist and your personal response to your surroundings.  Participants will have the opportunity to learn new skills and techniques, as well as refine your own practice through discussions and demonstrations that will cover the history and basics of landscape painting.  These will equip you the participant with all the skills to produce an artwork that reflects a true sense of place.

 Over the two day workshop participants will do an 'exploring place', working on compositions, colour theory, etc,  and then will complete the painting or a series or related paintings.  This detail will be consolidated closer to the date and depending on the inclement weather conditions of Enniskerry!’
