- About the artwork – Taken from a series of drawings and colour studies made in the Wakari area of Dunedin in New Zealand’s South island. I was staying in a house that overlooked a garden with a lone tree. It changed throughout the day as the sun moved across the sky, and I sketched moments of this throughout my stay and made a number of painting studies. This is the only one remaining- the other being with a collector in New Zealand.
