- About the artwork – Taken from a series of drawings and colour studies made whilst in the Southern New Zealand city- Dunedin, where i completed a series of residencies in 2018-19. This painting was infleunced particulalry by certain works that Richard Diebenkorn made of San Francisco in the 1960’s- abstracting and rendering down details of buildings and natural forms. Part of a larger series of work exploring place entitled ‘In Transit’
