- About the artwork – This piece is part of a small series based on drawings made on location in Santa Ponsa, Mallorca — particularly at a quiet beach favored by locals and overlooking the bay. I was captivated by the winding path leading down to the shore and the play of blue shadows cast across it, creating intriguing shapes and rhythms. The striking contrast between the sunlit white wall and the darker vegetation behind it evokes the heat and stillness of a Mediterranean summer. In the distance, a villa glimpsed through the trees adds a subtle hint of human presence within the landscape.
