Towards St Paul’s (Millennium Bridge) 2

This piece belongs to a small series of studies created in London, each exploring the area surrounding the Millennium Bridge as it leads toward the iconic St. Paul’s Cathedral. Just a short walk from Tate Modern, this vantage point captivated me—not only for its instantly recognisable skyline but also for the striking angles and sharp perspective it offers, qualities that strongly resonate with my artistic approach.

This second study focuses more closely on the architectural elements along the North Bank, viewed from the bridge itself. I was particularly drawn to the contrast between the bridge’s modern structure and the surrounding mix of old and new architecture, all set against the deep blue sky of an early February day in England’s capital.
