- About the artwork – This artwork reflects my time in New Zealand, where I completed several art residencies and taught workshops while travelling across the country and gathering imagery for an upcoming exhibition. The stunning South Island offered endless inspiration, particularly the east coast near Dunedin and the Otago Peninsula, where I spent an extended period.
Tunnel Beach is a beautiful walk that leads down to a small, secluded cove—this view looks toward that path. The contrast of the deep blue Pacific Ocean, the walkway guiding the viewer forward, and the striking rock formations together create a composition that takes me back to this special place.
