- About the artwork – This piece is part of a series based on drawing studies created on location in Santa Ponsa, Mallorca. Light has always played a central role in my work, and here, my aim was to capture the striking contrast between the deep blue Mediterranean sky and the vivid white, pure geometry of the surrounding buildings and villas. The heat was intense, yet the subtle colors of the trees and plants added further nuance and richness to the composition.
